Websites for Folk Musicians

The 2-Week Website

You'll be up and running in just two weeks!

Showcase your work. Get gigs. A great website can work for you while you are out there doing what you love — creating and sharing your music.

  • Responsive website design (Looks great on all computers, phones, and tablets!)

  • Types of pages: Artist Biography page, Blog, Contact Form page, Cover page (splash page with full-page image, song player, social media links), Home page, Music page, Store, Tour Calendar page, Videos page, and more

  • Custom favicon (small icon in the browser tab next to your website name)

  • Sign-up form (Grow your email list!) + free account setup and integration with MailChimp (email-marketing platform) + setup for digital download of free gift to thank subscribers (e.g., free digital song download)

  • Google Analytics setup and integration (See who’s visiting your website, and learn what content they are most interested in.)

  • SEO-optimized content (appear in search engine results)

  • Training on how to update your website

How is it possible to build and launch a website in just two weeks? You’ll be my only client during this two-week process. Yep, just you and me, and we’ll get things done.

Squarespace Platform Costs

Training

On the final day of the project, we'll have a one-on-one live training session via video conference to help you feel confident to make site updates and edits on your own schedule. The session will be recorded, so you can use it later as a reference.

Need photos?

Before even listening to your music, your photo is the first thing a website visitor will experience. High-quality, compelling photography is your chance to make a great first-impression. Land that gig by not only sounding professional with your recordings but also by looking professional with high-quality photographs. I have a trusted photographer who I’ve worked with on all my music projects since 2010. Let me connect you.

Need a bio?

This is your chance to tell your unique story. However, it can be a challenge to write about yourself and your accomplishments. I can connect you with a talented writer who will listen to your story and create a professional, meaningful, and effective Artist Biography just for you. Let me connect you.
